Marianne currently lives in Newcastle, England.
Marianne has been studying/practicing martial arts for nearly ten years, in particular Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) and the Philipino art of Kali. She is also a blue belt in Kickboxing although pretty much gave up kickboxing in favour of Thai boxing as she didnt have the time to continue with both.
Marianne trains annually in Thailand (Bangkok and Ko Samui) and spends a lot of time researching Women in Thai boxing. She has a fight record of 2 wins 1 loss, 1 draw and hopes to build on this in the coming year. Marianne is an avid fan of martial arts and all they encomapss as they have brought alot of joy to her life and enabled her to meet her fiance and a whole host of amazing people from all over the world.
Marianne also has a degree in music and enjoys anything to do with composition for film and television. people she admires in music are John Williams, Alan Silvestri and Sean Callery and she loves nothing more than kicking back with a good John Williams score, some of her favourites include Raiders of the lost ark, Home Alone, Star Wars, memoirs of a Geisha...
